Job Summary
Seeking an audit senior with 2-5 (or more) years of recent public accounting experience with
financial statement audits. CPA is a plus, but not required. Candidates must have strong
communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Understand the firm’s policies and procedures.
- Possess technical knowledge sufficient to supervise staff accountants.
- Strong analytical skills
- Develop quality client relationships and loyalty As it pertains to financial statement
engagements. - Have command of GAAP; cash, tax, or other special purpose frameworks; unique o
specialized accounting principles; and financial statement presentation - Obtain a thorough understanding of generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures and techniques.
- Assume responsibility for efficiently supervising both audit and non-audit engagements(reviews and compilations)
- Experience/knowledge of CCH engagemen
- Experience with risk assessment analysis in planning for audits
- Plan, supervise, and complete routine engagements
- Supervise staff, provide feedback to them, and evaluate their progress
